Balcony Seal is a game-changing innovation that delivers effective water drainage and effective waterproofing for most modern flat roof waterproofing systems including GRP , Single Ply and other liquid applied membranes. It can be used on Newbuild or retrofit projects.
The drain block fits neatly beneath the POSIglaze Base Fix channels, providing a clean and practical design solution.

The Subtle Solution
Most flat roofs are designed with a gentle slope to direct rainwater towards the edge or gutter. Therefore, it’s essential that the balustrade installer allows for drainage points beneath the channel to prevent water from pooling at the base.
The Balcony Seal system solves this elegantly. Drain blocks lift the channel above the surface, creating subtle drainage pathways that allow water to flow freely. The notched tops of the blocks slot securely into the POSI channel’s rebates, locking it in place before being bolt-fixed through each block for a sturdy, reliable finish.
The gaps between the blocks act as discreet drainage channels, which are then sealed to ensure a fully waterproof installation. The result? A sleek, professional finish that combines durability, functionality, and style – keeping your balcony or terrace protected year after year.
Balcony Seal kit is a fully tested system which allows water to flow under the glass balcony and seals the roof against any potential ingress.
Currently this product is available for use with POSiglaze, POSione and POSI-Lite balustrade systems.
